Andante from Concerto RV532 Antonio Vivaldi Adapted for solo guitar by Fred Nachbaur, 1996 Scored and sequenced using NoteWorthy Composer, April 1999 This is beautiful little movement from a Concerto in G for two mandolins and orchestra, arranged and scored for solo guitar. Because of the simplicity of this movement, it lends itself ideally to this treatment. The resulting adaptation should be readily playable by intermediate to advanced guitarists, and will hopefully add a nice little concert piece to the guitar repertoire. Left-hand fingerings are provided throughout, but right-hand indications are omitted for simplicity. These are quite obvious in the context. As for my other guitar arrangements, a reasonably detailed midi-file is provided, both for your listening enjoyment and also as a study aid. Each string of the guitar is treated as a separate instrument, in an attempt to make the midi "performance" more realistic. Updated Jan. 2002 for improved readability.
